A Most Magnificent Spider
by
Bob MacKenzie

Caste of weavers' highest class,
Haughty prince of India -
Living jewel walking proud
Like a green cut emerald -
In my way a spider walks
Flashing flaring green of rank,
Living jewel emerald
Strutting like an Emir-ald.
