Bob MacKenzie is past-president of the Kingston Musicians' Union, Local 518, American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada. Bob is also a member of the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals (OCFF).

As a result of two major hard drive crashes in 2004, the visitor count for this website between December
2003 and now was also lost. It's now impossible to recover the total number of musicians and music fans
who have visited Sound Bytes music reviews during the nine years since the column began in 1996. The
new counter,installed February 19, 2005, records the number of visitors to Sound Bytes since that date.
